Dear Friends of We Care Arts,
As we step into a new year, I am filled with gratitude and awe for the incredible journey we shared in 2024. Together, we created nearly 37,000 experience hours across our programs, empowering lives through the transformative power of art and community. From our Transition to Work program—which provided free art kits to 21 schools across 15 districts in the Greater Miami Valley—to the vibrant addition of Arts & Jazz to our event calendar, this past year has been a testament to the strength and resilience of our mission.
One moment that deeply touched me came during our holiday party, a celebration that holds special meaning for so many. An artist-client approached me, her eyes brimming with gratitude, and said, "This is my Christmas." She shared how much our community means to her, not just for the art classes but for the profound sense of belonging and family she finds here. Hearing her words reminded me of why we do what we do and how your support makes it all possible.
Looking ahead, we are thrilled to continue growing our impact in 2025. Our Together We Care Gala on Friday, February 28, will feature stunning collaborative artworks created over the past five months by our talented artist-clients and local community artists. These pieces will take center stage in our art auction, showcasing the unity and creativity that defines We Care Arts. Tickets are now available—don’t miss this chance to celebrate with us and support our mission.
As a special treat, we invite you to enjoy our YouTube video, Music and Artwork from We Care Arts, a two-hour collection of stunning artist-client creations set to beautiful background music. It’s perfect for creating a serene atmosphere in your living room. Watch it here: Music and Artwork from We Care Arts. Let’s make 2025 another extraordinary year together.
Thank you for being an essential part of our community. Whether you’ve attended an event, volunteered your time, or donated resources, you have helped us build a future where everyone can feel empowered through art. I cannot wait to see what we all create together in 2025!
With brushes of gratitude and strokes of joy, on behalf of our entire Team We Care Arts, I wish you a colorful and creative year ahead.
