What We Do

Our

We Care Arts offers a diverse array of programs designed to enrich the lives of individuals with developmental disabilitlies, substance use disorders and mental health diagnoses through the transformative power of creativity. These programs include:

  • The Adult Day Program
  • Outreach Program
  • Employment Services

Together, these programs create a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive artistically and personally.

Adult Day Program

We believe every individual is entitled to a fine arts experience. In our studios, learning and growth foster decision making and independence.  Applicants may be referred by a professional such as a doctor, therapist, pastor, social worker, occupational/physical therapist, rehab, counselor, or case manager. The referral source shall complete the We Care Arts New Client Application and is required to provide an appropriate release of information form at the time of referral. Please submit the We Care Arts New Client Application and release of information form together. Once the application is received and reviewed, the applicant will be notified to schedule a tour and site interview. Once on-site, we will discuss our program and desired goals of We Care Arts applicants. You may download a copy of our application at the bottom of this page.  Download Application, complete and deliver to We Care Arts by email at isp@wecarearts.org, mail, fax or in person.

We look forward to hearing from you! Questions? Please contact us.

Outreach Program

At We Care Arts, we are dedicated to bringing the healing power and joy of creating art directly to our community through our Outreach Programming. We partner with local organizations to offer art classes that are designed to inspire creativity, foster connection, and promote well-being. For each class, we provide all necessary supplies, guide participants through the chosen project, and take care of all the cleanup, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Our current outreach partners include:

  • Kettering Cancer Center
  • YWCA Dayton
  • Daybreak
  • Miracle Clubhouse

One of our key initiatives is the Transition to Work (TTW) Program, which offers 10 art projects over 10 weeks for Special Education programs in local school districts. This program is completely free for participants, thanks to generous grants and donations. If you're interested in learning more or becoming a part of our TTW Program, you can easily request more information by clicking the link below.
