Sharen Eninger Art Exhibition: A Murder of Crows

We Care Arts recently presented an exhibition of new work by fiber artist and beloved We Care Arts teacher, Sharen Eninger, titled “Murder of Crows.” The exhibition showcased unique pieces inspired by the artist’s observation of a murder of crows walking across a country field in rural Ohio.

Sharen Eninger’s passion for art began when she started taking classes at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio, at the age of 40. She found a home in the art department, where she discovered that she could have a career in art. After graduating from Sinclair in 1993, Sharen operated an art studio and gallery in Waynesville, Ohio, for seven years. She hosted art shows for emerging artists and taught them how to create and show their own work.

For the last 25 years, Sharen has been teaching sewing and various arts classes, including fiber arts, mixed media, and studio art, at We Care Arts. “Murder of Crows” is her latest exhibition and marks the end of her career as a teacher, as she plans to retire on August 31, 2023.

Sharen’s work is a testament to her passion for creativity and her dedication to teaching. She has inspired numerous artists-clients through her teaching and has left a lasting impression on the art community.
