made me feel much better

“I did not really want to come to the art class tonight, but it has made me feel much better that I can actually do something with my family while going through chemotherapy. Creating the artwork has made the time go so much faster.”

– Patient at Kettering Medical Center

Cancer Center

We Care Arts teachers travel to hospitals in the Dayton region including Miami Valley and Kettering Medical Center, creating art with patients. Family members often join in adding to the inclusive atmosphere. These locations can often be lonely for patients, creating art gives them enjoyment and boosts confidence while also passing time.
