Curator’s Corner: Plush Buddies Top Choice
This month, there are many exciting and unique pieces to choose from for me to talk about! However, a set of fabric art that caught my eye was Teresa W’s adorable plush characters! They are officially called “Plush Buddies” and they were first unveiled at the We Care Arts “Cookie Walk and Tot Shop,” on December 8th! They are created with a diverse range of fabrics such as blue denim, various colors of yarn, and soft flannel-style felt! Another feature that makes them unique from many stuffed animals I have seen is their triangular shape! The sewing of each of the plushies is impeccable, and I particularly love how each one is distinct and has its own personality.
